Music, books, and coffee. Mojo nirvana. One of my visions of heaven. I only had 2 hours to spend at Mojo Books and Records, and I could have used 2 days. I sipped a delicious ice latte while shopping. The latte met my requirements of being so good that I don't need to add any sweetener. 👍 All good, no worries! 👍

This is the BEST kinda place --books, incredible music selection and...coffee all together!! EXACTLY what I needed! You come in here and fall in love with music, books and coffee again. I don't live in Tampa-- I just stumbled on this store while waiting for my daughter to finish her volunteer project. There were soooo many fantastic albums!! What a delightful selection of books. Used book stores (GOOD used book stores) are hard to find. This is a great one!

We are frequent customers of Mojo Books and Records. I am usually primarily looking for vinyl and cds and they have a great collection to purchase. They have a wide variety of all generas of music. They have both used and new options that are in great condition. I highly recommend Mojo Books and Records for all of your physical media needs.

I have been a frequent flier here since my time at USF, the atmosphere is fantastic, they always have a wide selection of books, and I love their lemonade menu!!

Just came from Mojo's. The owner, Melanie, was very helpful with our questions as we were searching for specifics. The place was very busy, especially the coffee corner. Well stocked with novels and music. Friendly staff.

HEAVEN for folks who enjoy pyshical media. this place was SUPER cool. I got a tiramisu iced latte, it was super yummy, and the service was friendly. this is definitely a place to not go in a rush or with anyone who gets antsy when shopping cause you can definitely spend hours here combing through all the books, CDs, vinyls and DVDs. Will visit again when in the area!

I just called the store to ask what coffee beans they were using back in December because I’ve been thinking about the excellent cortado I got there for many months (it’s Brandywine Roasters if you’re wondering). And then I realized I’ve never left a review! Mojo is a staple in the Tampa community and I used to go all the time as a USF student back in the day. Now I make it a point to visit every time I’m in the area, and it’s always a lovely experience. Wonderful staff, expansive selection of vinyl and books, knowledgeable and skilled baristas… it has it all. Go get a cortado and get lost in all they have to offer!

I cannot say enough good things about this store. Mojo has a huge selection of music and novels, including graphic novels! The staff has always been pleasant. I always find something new when I visit. The pricing is way better than any other store you'll find the in area. Mangas, for example, can be found for as little as $7.99. Most novels I purchase range from $3-20. Their book exchange is great, too! As for the cafe, I've only had a couple of items in the past. But what I did have (rose latte, lavender latte, I believe) was very tasty and fresh. It doesn't take too long to receive your items depending on how many people are seated. Their shelf spacing can be a little tight at times but that's to be expected when the stock is plentiful and varied. Overall, highly recommended!

I stumbled upon this bookstore and immediately texted my friends that I had found my people. This place is book heaven. The selection is a great mix of new and older titles, and the prices seem incredibly competitive. I grabbed a flavored latte while browsing and it was delicious. I could easily have spent hours here, but unfortunately I hit my budget by the second aisle. I still managed to leave with three signed books (two from a very current popular author and one older title) plus a few marked-down DVDs. The deals here are fantastic. Apparently they also buy books, which I’ll have to try another time. I didn’t even make it to the albums section, so that’s definitely on the agenda for my next visit. The barista was very friendly, though the gentleman checking me out seemed a bit less welcoming: I may not fit the typical student demographic, but I’m definitely someone who enjoys spending money on books. Still, the store itself is such a treasure that I’ll absolutely be back—next time with a slightly larger budget.

Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
